Basics of security awareness for pupils at primary school

This diploma thesis looks at building educational modules that will serve to build a basic awareness of safety for children in primary schools. The theoretical part describes the basic information from this area. The next part describes the assignment of individual modules and also describes the schools where the teaching took place. The practical section contains detailed fillings of these education modules.

This Bachelor thesis describes problem of social networking and its influence to everyday usage of personal computers. It introduces project KDE Silk, which is integrating web services into workspace of desktop environment and making daily work not only with social networks easier and more pleasant. As practical part of this thesis is presented addon for KDE Plasma - Geoweb implemented as part of KDE Silk. Geoweb is used for managing actual user location with additional information relevant to the given position. Various types of information are provided as plugins for Geoweb.
Social Network Integration into an Information Portal

Bakalářská práce byla vypracována na studijním pobytu na "Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, Vila Real, Portugalsko", a je zpracována v angličtině. Cílem bakalářské práce "Integrace sociálních sítí do informačního portálu" bylo vytvoření portálu, který by předvedl způsoby integrace současných sociálních sítí na internetu do jednoho portálu. Práce obsahuje seznámení se základními pojmy v této oblasti, jako je Social Web, Web 2.0 a sociální sítě. Dále představuje jednotlivé sociální sítě, které byly intergovány do portálu, a technologie a standardy k tomu použité, tj. OpenID, OAuth a OpenSocial. Dále práce popisuje také jednotlivé etapy vývoje zadaného webového portálu. V závěru práce je také shrnutí a zhodnocení výsledků a zamyšlení nad možnými rozšířeními výsledného portálu.
The Influence of Distance Learning on Dependence of Children on The Internet

The bachelor's thesis focuses on how long-term online learning affects children and young students' time spent online. In the theoretical part are the findings on addiction itself, social networks and other typical activities for spending time online in distance learning as well as distance learning itself is presented. The content of the practical part focuses on a quantitative research study. The chosen method of data collection is a questionnaire survey aimed at primary and secondary schools. From the acquired data, it is concluded how much distance learning has affected the time spent on the Internet before and now in distance learning.
Computer at home and at school with regard to the risks to the childs personal development

This thesis on "Computer at home and at school, having regard to the risks to the child's personality development", discusses how to use computers in school, especially in the education, home and leisure of the child. Work emphasizes the risks resulting from improper use of information and communication technology (especially computers and the Internet) and offers solutions to minimize these risks. The aim is to acquaint the reader with the emerging phenomena due to using computers, such as the already extensive social networking, cyberbullying and "addiction" emerging on the Internet and computer games.
Research of social networks - Patreon, Onlyfans, Swag - focused on the pornography industry

In my thesis I analyze the functioning of social media, which are part of the pornographic industry. Namely, the work is focused on Patreon, OnlyFans and Swag. In my work I focus on two models and follow the development of their work habits over time. The theoretical part of the thesis also touches on a brief history of pornography on the Internet. Given the current situation, I also describe very marginally the impact of the coronavirus crisis on the porn industry. Finally, a quantitative analysis is performed using a questionnaire survey, which examines the phenomena described in this thesis.
Identification of beach volleyball marketing opportunities

Title: Identification of beach volleyball's marketing opportunities Objectives: The goal of thesis is to find marketing opportunities that can be helpful for beach volleyball in ways of finding new sponsorship opportunities, new audience and spectators as well as new more active players. Next part is based on this research and gives a suggestion for improvement of marketing in beach volleyball. Methods: This work analyse in-depth interviews with experts in different sections of beach volleyball. These experts are chosen in purpose of this thesis. Interviews are half-structured and then transcripted. The method of the analysis is constant comparative. Results: The work summarises and compares answers of all respondents who talks about marketing situation of beach volleyball in a world and in the Czech Republic itself and about possibilities of improvements. Using social networks for teaching German as a foreigne language

The diploma thesis "Using social networks for teaching German as a foreign language" deals with the development of society in the theoretical part and how this development was influenced by technologies. There are also described the individual roles of the Internet and social networks in society and in education. The practical part deals with the use of modern technologies and social networks in education. There are individual examples and advices on how to integrate modern technologies and social networks into education throughout the year and also during one lesson. In conclusion, the work is supplemented with the results of a questionnaire survey, which was conducted in order to obtain information and on opinion of students about what they think of the involvement of social networks and modern technologies in teaching.
The effect of Facebook on interpersonal friendship

This study is focused on the effect of the biggest social networking site, Facebook, on friendship. The study first defines friendship itself and then focuses on the functions and needs that are fulfilled for the individual through this kind of a relationship. Later, all of this is put into the bigger frame - specifically Facebook. The thesis is generally focused on trying to figure out whether Facebook changes the general understanding of friendship and the term itself or not. The goal of this thesis is being fulfilled though the analysis of more than ten quantitative researches on this topic. All of the researches mentioned in the thesis have been tested for whether they meet the validity and reliability criteria. Next they have been split into three groups. The first group is focused on the motivation that leads the individual to creating an Facebook account. The second group is focused on comparing the expression of friendship on Facebook and outside of it. The last group describes the consenquences of using Facebook or other social media. Through the conducted research we've come to the conclusion that Facebook doesn't affect fulfilling friendship or friendship functioning in any significant way.
